Boudoir Sessions

Boudoir sessions can be done in your own home or in a hotel setting. My studio is not set up so that we would have enough privacy for boudoir sessions. Most sessions last 2+ hours. I do not cover the cost of the hotel. My recommendation is to make a romantic date out of your session. Book a hotel room for your session and then have your honey meet you after I leave...

If you need recommendations on hotels please do not hesitate to call me.

Boudoir Session Preparations
I just wanted to give out a few tips and do’s and don’ts if you are planning on having a boudoir session that will help your photo’s turn out the best and for you to be comfortable during your session. You are always welcome to bring a friend along to help with your nerves!

· DO drink plenty of water before your session, and bring some along with you during your session. You would be surprised how much of a workout it is being sexy and beautiful! Being hydrated will do wonders for your skin. Skip the soda’s and cokes if you can.

· DO NOT apply self-tanner or overdo it in the tanning bed. The camera will really bring out those streaks and imperfections from self-tanners and orange skin is not sexy. Ivory skin is beautiful!

· DO bring more outfits than you think you will use, any props or special items that you want to use. Bring along something of your significant others to use, a hat, football, boots, tie, shirt… anything you can think of that you can use to make your shots more personable for that person.

Don’t forget the heels and jewelry, accessories are great and really add that extra oomph to the photos.

· DO NOT eat any foods or drink drinks that make you feel bloated or gassy. This just makes you uncomfortable and is an unneeded stress.

· DO try and schedule your session when you feel the most beautiful during the month. This may sound crazy, but most women feel their most attractive when they are ovulating. Your skin is glowing, your body is curvy in all the right places… Your man is usually fawning all over you this time too, so your already gonna feel hot from all his attention!

· DO get yourself a manicure and pedicure, or do it yourself.

· DO get fake eyelashes; they make such a huge difference in your photos.

· DO try and go just a little past your comfort zone. I’m not suggesting you go fully nude or anything like that, but if you go just a little further than you THINK you can you will end up with some great photos.

· DO NOT try and be something other than yourself. I know this is a little contradicting with my last tip, but you should be yourself, just a bolder you. You want your honey to recognize you in your pictures! You might do your hair a little different or wear something a little more risqué than you would normally, but I don’t suggest you pull out the leather, chains and whips if your more of a Sunday school kinda girl, but hey, sometimes both of those personalities lurk in one woman!

· DO hire a hair and makeup artist, make the day about you, having someone else do your hair and makeup can be such a treat. And you’re going to need your makeup a little stronger than you would normally wear it if you do it yourself. If you have your regular hairdresser/makeup artist do your hair and makeup make sure she knows you are having photos done, so she can do it accordingly. I also work with a hair and makeup artist so if you want your hair and makeup done by a professional and don’t already have one lined up that can be worked out for you to have it done on location right before your shoot.

· DO bring some music along. I will have music but you can bring along your own music if you like. I suggest something that makes you wanna dance or feel sexy.

· DO put lotion or oil on, all over, you can bring it along as well, it will do wonders for the look of your skin, it will have a great supple, glowing look.

· DO NOT wear tight fitting clothes prior to your session. It will leave indentions or red marks on your skin. Wear something loose and comfortable. No socks, stick to the flip flops.

· DO go out and get yourself something really nice in terms of lingerie. Go somewhere that can fit you for a bra, a good fitting bra makes such a big difference! Find something that you feel amazing in. We all have certain areas of our bodies that we love and hate, find something that really emphasizes your love spots and hides your hate spots.

· DO shave/wax/pluck enough in advance that you don’t have any red areas from the irritation.

· DO NOT give yourself a hard time about your body. You are beautiful! Don’t go on a crash diet or starve yourself before your shoot. Don’t try and do 50 crunches the morning of your shoot, unless that’s part of your daily routine anyway.

* I can edit your pictures if you want, to remove cellulite, stretchmarks, and a "few" extra pounds.

*I can also apply darker makeup and fake eyelashes, but the less "photoshopping" done to your photos the better!

*If you have seen images online that you like and would like to mimic please do send those to me via email so I have an idea of what you want and can help re-create those poses.

*You can also check out my pinterest account for photos I have already pinned for ideas!
