Salute the Troops Home for the Holidays

This is the first time in several years that this momma has had both her soldier sons home at the same time for Christmas.  She wanted to get some family portraits done since they won't be home for long, they will be deployed again to protect their country.  It was very touching for me to take these pics as I am a new momma to a little boy myself! I can only imagine how hard it must be to watch your babies go off to a war. I hope your boys come home safe and sound!

My Lil Monkey

I love my little man. We were just playing around outside the shop the other day, passing the time in between patrons. Got some really cute shots of Cole.

I love my boys!

Got some great shots this weekend of my two favorite guys! Little Cole has started sitting up on his own now, which makes it much easier to get some really cute pictures of him. The only thing is, he likes looking down at the ground and not into the camera. Hopefully he will get over that soon! There is still just a few more days before Christmas, so there is still time to get some great Christmas pictures. I can do them in the studio or on location. Lovely Larks 1st Christmas

This sweet little girl is getting ready for her very first Christmas! She is such a quiet little thing.  She is named after the bird, Lark.  And like the bird she is a small, dainty little thing!

Her mother has been waiting on her little girl for a while, this being her 3rd baby, the older two are boys so there was no shortage of frills and ribbons on this photo shoot!

I have never seen such a bright smile on my husband's face like the one he has when he holds our little boy! We were blessed with our little man on our 8yr wedding anniversary.  He just turned 6months old, it has been a great 6 months!

Studio is coming together!

I have a few backdrops at the shop, my backdrop hanger is on the way, looking at some new lights for the shop. It is all coming together so fast. Opening a Studio!

So, my mom is opening a store in our small town and really wants me to start doing my photography in one of the rooms of her store. So I went by yesterday and the paint is on the walls and I am going to start hauling some of my equipment up today and see how this goes! Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it!

Lippizaner Horses

The photo shoot this weekend reminded me of some other horse related shoots I've done, so I am sharing some of the photos I took when we went to see the Famous Lippizaner stallions. If you have children that love horses this is a really neat show to see. I fondly remember seeing the show as a young girl myself.
